After that, we will start our deep dive series. "8 Kings and a Queen" - a history of Sweden and Scandinavia from 1520-1721.
and "History behind the News" - where we take big news events such as the rise of ISIS and discuss it in a historical context.
and finally, out military history section will talk about the battles, wars, weapons, treaties and philosophies which have defined fighting in the world (and in historical fiction as well - look out Game of Thrones we're looking at how you use dragon airpower and how the Starks use Soft Power keep hold of the North and our hearts).

There was a moment - certainly brief - where ISIS was a violent jihadi movement (there's lots of heads in this video - be careful) but still wanted some kind of outside legitimacy. Enough to allow in a journalist to tell its tale. Is it propaganda - ISIS intends it to be - but it remains the only look inside the inner workings of the group. Two months after his reporting ISIS was overrunning northern Iraq, laying siege to Yazidi towns, and getting bombed by the United States. After that, very bad things happen to reporters in ISIS territory.
